What’s this about?

I’ve always felt that books on shelves are badges of wisdom.

While searching for my next badge, I browsed my way to artofmanliness.com and found a suggested list of 100 books that every man should read. I scribbled down a few on a piece of notebook paper and my girlfriend and I drove to the bookstore. As we left the store with two from the list, I mentioned that I wanted to read my way through all of the books on the list, from start to finish. My girlfriend replied, “You could blog about that.”

And thus I begin to tackle the 100 essential books of a man’s library. I’m also going to be reviewing each book to see if I feel it actually belongs in the list of essential books for men.
